There is a small but dedicated team working at Cornerstone to make sure that all our vistors enjoy both our events and the venue.
The members of the team that you meet most often may be the Duty Managers and the Box Office team - but there's also our Centre Director, the operations, visual arts, participation, marketing, technical and administration teams - plus of course our dedicated crew of volunteers and casual workers.
Every few months we like to introduce you to a member of our highly prized team!
My job in a nutshell…
Duty Managing Cornerstone's fantastic range of events, and also, administration of the Participation programme.
Previously I was…
A Student, then a Duty Manager, then a Freelance Events Co-ordinator (Arts Education).
Most memorable Arts Event so far….
Glastonbury Festival is the ultimate live event – and for good reason, it offers such a good mix of arts.
Otherwise, Frankenstein at the National Theatre was fantastic.
Hobbies…
Arts & Crafts and Events - especially in the arts – to be honest I am really lucky that my hobbies are also my career.
Favourite take-away…
Tough one…I think Chinese take-away just wins, although I do love a nice Korma (I am a wimp with spices!)
First record, cd or download…
Kylie Minogue – Can’t remember which album but she had a black hoop hat with her curly hair piled on top, I remember feeling really grown when I was buying it (on cassette!).
If I could go anywhere in the world I would go…
New York – I've always wanted to go!
