There really is nothing like seeing it live. To watch a theatre company perform right in front of us is an utterly unique experience. Even if the lines are exactly the same, no two performances are. And if you see a theatre show it’s something you’d remember and refer to for years to come – unlike perhaps an episode of a soap opera on TV or even a film.

So! Come and see theatre at Cornerstone. Our stage has been highly complimented by many touring theatre companies – they love the way the stage is set up and how they can react with the audience. And the seating was specially designed by theatre consultants to make sight lines as good on as possible.

We are really delighted that you have been coming in droves to support theatre – Didcot and environs really are a hotbed of discerning theatre goers – young and old alike.

We’ve got eight fantastic theatre shows this season, and again we are aiming to keep variety, along with quality, at the heart of the programme. Comedy musical theatre, theatre cabaret with a live band, one man shows, contemporary retellings of Shakespeare, acrobatic love stories and theatre adapted from award winning novels.
